A few simple guidelines to ensure the best experience for you and your dog.
Welcome! To keep grooming safe, calm, and low-stress, please review these policies before booking.
One-on-One Grooming
As a solo groomer, I provide personalized, low-stress, one-on-one care. While I’m happy to give most dogs a chance, I may not be able to accommodate dogs that require multiple handlers for safety. In these cases, I would recommend a salon with multiple staff or a veterinary groomer.
Pre Booking Appointments
To keep consistent availability and keep your pet on a healthy grooming schedule, clients are strongly encouraged to pre-book their next appointment within 12 weeks at the time of service. Pre-booking helps guarantee your preferred spot and reduces the need for last minute scheduling.
Rabies Vaccination
All dogs must be up to date on their rabies vaccination. For your initial appointment, I require an updated rabies certificate showing the expiration date before booking. Please have your pets rabies certificate when booking an appointment.
Mobile Grooming Appointments
For your pet’s first appointment, a pet parent must be present. Once you and your pet are established with Gypsy Coast Mobile Grooming, contactless appointments may be available with a garage code, gate code, or key access.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time may be charged 50% of the service cost. Cancelling before 48 hours gives me enough time to refill your spot.
Matted Coat Policy
Severely matted coats require additional time, care, and attention to groom safely and humanely.
Extra fees may apply depending on the severity of the matting. In some cases, a full shave-down may be necessary to prevent pain, skin irritation, or injury.
Behavior Policy
Dogs that exhibit challenging behavior may require additional time, patience, and handling to ensure safety.
A behavior fee may be applied based on the level of difficulty. My priority is always your dog’s comfort and safety, and I will always work at a pace that keeps them as stress-free as possible.
